A Professor at a Christian College has been suspended for “showing solidarity” with Muslims. Did the school make the right decision?

Wheaton College Professor Dr. Laryicia Hawkins decided to start wearing a hijab during Advent as a show of solidarity and support for American Muslims

Wheaton responded by suspending her for violating their policy of making “a commitment to accept and model our institution’s faith foundations with integrity, compassion and theological clarity.” Dr. Hawkins’ belief that Muslims are “people of the book” just like Christians is where she and Wheaton part company.
