Oral arguments were heard today in the case of USMC Lance Corporal Monifa Sterling, who is facing a court martial in the case involving her displaying an unmarked Scripture verse at her work station.
LC Sterling is appealing to the Court of Appeals of the Armed Forces (the “Supreme Court” for the US Military) requesting that she be allowed to use the tenets of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act in her defense.
