Why did the Portland Public School District Force a Choir to Stop Performing?

Choirs from Portland Schools will NOT be allowed to participate in one of the largest holiday events this Christmas season . . . because the Catholic Church owns the facility where the event will be held.

The Festival of Lights takes place each year the day after Thanksgiving (to kick off the holidays). School choirs district-wide are scheduled to appear but the threat of a lawsuit from the Unhappy Humanists will keep that from happening.

The “Grumpy’s” have determined that, since the Catholics own the Grotto (botanical gardens where the event is held) and those attending the concert must pay for parking . . . and those parking fees go to the Church . .. then the schools are “endorsing Catholicism” by paying for parking at this annual event.
